Legislature to Return Wed. Gov. Snyder to Present State of the State Address Jan. 19

The Michigan Legislature is scheduled to return to Lansing on Wednesday after a several week break.  The Consensus Revenue Estimating Conference will be held on Thursday and lawmakers will be presented with revenue forecasts for the next few years.  Legislators will be presented with the revenue forecast for the next few years.  Also Governor Snyder will make an address to a joint session of the Michigan Legislature detailing his legislative agenda for the next year.  It is expected that he will discuss his educational goals through the end of the year, along with ways to approach the financial struggles of school districts across the state including Detroit Public Schools.  Hopefully he will discuss the Flint water crisis.  The Governors, state of the state address will be held on Jan 19 at 7 PM.
