2016 Plan Updates & Regional Seminar Invitation
The following updates to your Retirement System health plan will be effective on Jan.1, 2016:

MEDICARE MEMBERS |

Annual deductible |
Your annual deductible will be updated from $650 to $700. |
|
Annual coinsurance out-of-pocket maximum |
Your annual coinsurance out-of-pocket maximum will be updated from $800 to $850. |
|
Emergency room visits |
The copay amount for emergency room visits will be updated from $50 to $75. |

NON-MEDICARE MEMBERS |
|
|
Annual deductible |
Your annual deductible will be updated from $850 to $900. (Note: You can lower your annual deductible to as low as $700 by completing the steps to enroll in the 2016 LivingWell program. You’ll receive more information on how to enroll later this fall.) |
|
Annual coinsurance out-of-pocket maximum |
Your annual coinsurance out-of-pocket maximum will be updated from $800 to $850. |

Emergency room visits |
The copay amount for emergency room visits will be updated from $50 to $75. |

Flu vaccine |
Covered at 100 percent once per calendar year |
|
Colonoscopy screening |
Covered at 100 percent: o For people with high risk of colorectal cancer – once every 24 months o For people who are not at high risk – once every 120 months (10 years) |
